BE DISCIPLES. MAKE DISCIPLES.

Our Vision

To be and to make disciples of Jesus who follow him faithfully by the power of the Holy Spirit until he returns, to the glory of God.

Our Prayer

Our prayer is to be, by the Lord’s grace and help, a community that glorifies God by:

(1) treasuring the Word of God—that is, recognizing and submitting ourselves to the authority of the Scriptures in all matters of life and doctrine (e.g., 1 Cor. 4:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 4:8; 2 Tim. 1:13), “rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15 ESV), and giving the Scriptures the time, care, and attention they deserve (e.g., Acts 2:41; 6:4; 19:9-10; 20:20);

(2) welcoming and relying on the work of the Holy Spirit—that is, “walking by the Spirit” so as to not “carry out the desire of the flesh” (Gal. 5:16 CSB), cultivating a culture of listening to the Spirit’s voice and relying on his leadership (e.g., Rom. 8:14; Rev 2:7, 17, 29), and endeavoring to operate in the gifts of the Spirit in a biblically responsible way and in a spirit of love, service, and humility for the building up of others (e.g., 1 Cor. 12-14);

and (3) living lives of faith, love, and hope—that is, placing our faith in God’s faithfulness to his promises in the gospel, making Jesus’ saving work on the cross our sole boast and confidence (Gal. 6:14), growing in Christlike love for God and neighbor by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5; 1 Cor. 13), and setting our hope fully on the return of Jesus (Tit. 2:13; 1 Pet. 1:13).
